Get Stencil Review

What Is Get Stencil? about an excellent service that you may not have heard of. I’m talking about Get Stencil, an online graphic design app. It is an incredibly useful tool, simple to use but with a ton of features. And in this Get Stencil review, we will show you why we love it, so stay tuned.

What Is Get Stencil?

If you have ever created a blog post or a video, you probably needed appropriate images to make it more interesting, and visually appealing. I’m always trying to add images and videos to keep you all reading my posts here.

While nine times out of ten images are not essential, they are highly recommended. Yes, most of the information is in the actual text of your post, so why bother with images?

Well, having a wall of nothing but text is one of the best ways to make sure nobody reads the whole article. No matter how unique it is, or valuable the information is, it will chase people away before they dig into it.

Additionally, having images can improve your overall SEO for a page or post. This especially is effective when you optimized your images alt tags. It’s a no brainer to have images.

The same goes for videos. You need an image for your thumbnail, and it would be a good idea to put them into the video, where appropriate, to back up your claims, or similar.

While you can use free stock images unchanged, everyone else is doing the same thing. Your content will look like everything rest on the internet, cloned. To make it stand out, you need to create your own artwork.

Why Not Use Photoshop?

Professional tools like Photoshop are awesome. However, they have a steep learning curve, and they are very expensive. Using them is overkill for most people.

It’s like making a site only through the code; it’s much more comfortable to use a CMS like WordPress than to write the whole code from scratch. Services like Get Stencil are a beginner-friendly version of Photoshop in a way. They let you design and create while having fun.

With it, you can create and edit beautiful graphics, only via drag & drop. This is much better than browsing through and trying to learn countless settings in Photoshop. Everything is user-friendly and organized in menus and categories.

And above everything, Stencil works fast. Yes, you can make some advanced changes with it, but only if you want to. It will never overwhelm you with a tone of unnecessary options right from the start.

Great Looking Images, Fast And Easy

Like its competitor, Canva, Stencil is exceptionally intuitive and beginner friendly. To create graphics with it, you don’t need any technical skills.

This is a completely online editor. That means there are no downloads, you do everything inside your browser. This saves you resources and allows you to use Stencil on any machine. This is a benefit for times when downloading files is prohibited (such as on a public computer). You can install a Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari extension. These will let you use Stencil from anywhere.

What They Have To Offer

Stencil offers more than two million background photos to start from to edit to your liking. Moreover, there are thousands of quotes you can use, and even more icons. The GetStencil library phenomenal, and one of the biggest around.

You can also use Google Fonts to create typographies or upload your own. You can also upload your own logos as well. This is an excellent option if you already have an established brand, and you need to make a few quick edits.

Presets And Templates

To make edits even faster, Get Stencil has 30+ presets. With those, you don’t have to worry about changing settings for different purposes. You just choose social media/blog/ads, and the image you create will adjust to the type of content you create it for. But if you need something custom, no worries, you can create presets too.

Stencil also has almost 800 premium templates, that let you create even faster, as you don’t have to do anything from scratch. You can mark favorites, which will allow you to quickly find and reuse them later. Additionally, you can create collections as well.

There are also more advanced features such as:

  • Image and post scheduling
  • Buffer support
  • FaceBook Ads optimization
  • Instant image resizing
  • Social connections

You can send photos to your phone, so you can easily upload them to Instagram, which is one of the features we especially like. Then, you can use live preview to see how your graphics look on different screen sizes. This will ensure perfect optimization and responsiveness.
